Pinarello Prince TiCR Force AXS Disc Road Bike 2022 Borrowing heavily from the hugely successful Dogma F12, Pinarello’s Prince TiCR Force AXS Disc Road Bike is an extremely worthy competitor in the premium bike market. The T700 Carbon asymmetric frame has the TiCR concept, which means that all cables run internally for a clean look and improved aerodynamics whilst the frame’s tubes have also been designed to cut easily through the air. The downtube has a distinctive concave design that hides the water bottles from the wind and the fork has the aero ForkFlap addition to improve airflow. Handling wise, the T700 carbon is stiff and efficient around the drivetrain for better performance but compliant enough that the rider is comfortable and the responsiveness has been increased via a chainstay redesign. Fully wireless, SRAM’s 12-speed electronic groupset is a joy to use, with near-instantaneous gear changes at just a light touch of the paddles. Certain elements of its behaviour can be customised through the smartphone app along with battery and maintenance monitoring. The Fulcrum Racing 500 disc wheelset is a good match to the frame in terms of performance, with the shallow rim providing plenty of performance without suffering from the excess weight and handling issues that deeper wheels can suffer from.
