Focus Izalco Max 9.6 Disc Road Bike 2021
With aero race geometry, the Focus Izalco Max 9.6 Disc Road Bike offers a seriously fast and direct ride character. Stiff Ultra High Modulus carbon fibres give rigidity where necessary, providing class-leading power transfer and an ultralight frame weight of just 890 grams. Designed in the wind tunnel, the Izalco oozes aero features, with each individual tube being optimised for minimal resistance. Through the use of Focus' C.I.S stem, cables are fully integrated, giving the Izalco a clean, aerodynamic cockpit.
Handling is sharp and responsive without feeling nervous, providing excellent feedback when you decide to put the power down. The 9.6 is specified with the 48mm deep DT Swiss ARC 1450 wheelset for reduced rotational weight, further lending to the Izalco’s reactive nature. Focus’s Rapid Axle Technology (R.A.T) combines the speed of a quick-release with the stability and stiffness of a thru-axle.
For added compliance, a 15mm offset seatpost is supplied to increase comfort. To compensate for this the seat tube has been moved forward to keep the rider in a race position, decreasing the effective offset to only 2mm. Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting keeps the gear changes crisp and precise, rounding off an excellent race-ready package.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
